Depart (1986) for acting flutist and tape, was written for the American performer/composer Ann laBerge, as a farewell piece at the end of my study year in San Diego. The tape was made in a small, antique eight track studio at the University, and you will among other sound sources hear the Pacific Railway's afternoon express to Los Angeles.
